Harry Burleigh I received my fine arts degree in 1983. This in itself was a miracle. I'm REALLY not a conventional thinker.

Most of my applied creative skills, I picked up outside of my college classes through real world experiences, both before during and after that time period. This would be best exemplified by not paying full attention in grade school and high school, by scribbling numerous images on legal pad margins, and by seeing faces in almost every thing that I looked at. This holds true even today.

A few of my specialties are sci-fi, fantasy, abstract surrealism, and impressionistic adaptations of the human form.

My inspirations are vast, both heavy and humerous, but very much open for discussion. These come in all forms.
Music, people, other artists, daydreams, life experiences, behaviors, & natural feelings are all big influences.

I deal mostly with oils, charcoal, chalk pastel, and Graphite. The graphite pieces usually take longer to complete as they tend to be far more intricate.

I still do the majority of my own film and digital video work as needed. Having worked in television for over twenty years, I also do my own nonlinear editing and digital paint box applications.

I do have some very inspiring Ideas for sculptures but I simply don't have enough justification at this time for their design and construction. I particularly like designing sculptures that utilize parts of the natural environment rather than just stand-alone pieces that sit on pedistals.

If you'd like to commission a series, or a solitary work of art, feel free to contact me so that we can get on the same page and relate. My style of art is produced in a very unique way and should be discussed before a commission is agreed upon.

Thank you for your continued interest and for your concentric support during my public appearances.

Humble regards,

Harry
